He has done his graduation from Grant Medical college, Mumbai after which he persued his Master’s training in General surgery from GMC Amritsar. After consolidating the surgical training as senior resident in Holy Family Hospital, New Delhi, he went for his superspeciality training. He finished his DNB Superspeciality in Surgical gastroenterology at Apollo Hospital New Delhi. During his tenure, he was actively involved in academics, had numorous publications and book chapters in his name. He got expertise in complex hepato-pancreatico-biliary and GI surgical procedures. With a special interest in the field of Liver transplantation, he move a step ahead to join his fellowship in the Deptt. of Liver transplantation, Indraprastha Apollo hospital, New Delhi under Dr. Neerav Goyal. He got intense training in both pediatric as well as adult living donor liver transplant, handling pre and post liver transplant patients along with performing complex hepatic resections. He is presently working as attending consultant in Apollo liver transplant and Hepatopancreatic biliary unit. His current areas of interest include laparoscopic donor hepatectomy, pediatric liver transplant and complex hepato-biliary procedures.
